On June 13, 2026, a delegation from Mae Fah Luang University, Thailand, visited the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering at Peking University and held an academic exchange with the Lei Laboratory. The delegation included Assoc. Prof. Rawiwan Charoensub, Director of the Medicinal Plant Innovation Center; Prof. Surat Laphookhieo, Dean of the School of Science; and faculty members and researchers from the School of Integrative Medicine, School of Health Sciences, and Medicinal Plant Innovation Center. The exchange was hosted by Prof. Xiaoguang Lei. Prof. Lei welcomed the delegation and introduced the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering as well as its research programs. Assoc. Prof. Rawiwan Charoensub and Dr. Subhadip Banerjee delivered research presentations on the work of the Medicinal Plant Innovation Center, and the graduate student Han Ke from Prof. Lei's group presented recent research highlights. During the visit, the delegation toured the Lei Laboratory, as well as the research facilities of the College of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering and the School of Life Sciences. This visit strengthened mutual understanding between the Lei Laboratory and research groups from the Mae Fah Luang University and laid a solid foundation for future academic exchange and collaborative research in natural products and medicinal plant innovation.
